The three-balloon architecture

Why no thermal energy matters

While effective, this introduces recovery discomfort, post-procedure catheter dependency, and potential collateral thermal spread to structures like the verumontanum — the anatomical gateway for antegrade ejaculation.

Mechanical dilation, by contrast, separates tissue planes without destroying them. The urethral mucosa stretches rather than ablates. This principle underpins the 94.2% ejaculation preservation rate observed in the Gen 1 registration study.
